Birthday Breakfast for Free

The Feather Factory Hotel is a very basic hotel. It’s clean, mostly modern and not too far from the city (actually it is a 7min walk to the subway and two stops from Grand Central Terminal). But what makes it a super duper cool hotel for doing NYC on budget is the breakfast.

Before I knew that, I was planning to have a nice breakfast on the 20th January. Why? It’s my birthday. But after the first morning at the hotel I was sure: We’ll have breakfast there. No need to go anywhere.

The free breakfast buffet includes:

• toast, muffins, bagels
• fresh waffles
• grilled potatoes
• scrambled eggs
• sausages
• fresh made omelette
• fruits
• cereals
• coffee, tea and orange juice

And I am sure, I missed something.

Together with that great view from the breakfast room at 5th floor and wonderful clear blue sky at sunrise, my birthday breakfast couldn’t have been any better. 😍
