German Freundlichkeit

In Germany we have certain character traits which get assigned to the folks of geographical regions. And I know that sometimes people from the north of Germany get called a little bit cold. Maybe just not as nice as … let’s say people from Cologne - Rheinländer. Most of the time these prejudices are what I call them: prejudices. But this time I felt like everyone working at Hamburg Airport was desperately trying to play their role: Grumpy person that hates people!

Apart from that everything was completely fine at the airport. We are not the kind of people that travel by plane a lot, so everything was at least challenging. But nothing you can’t do… 😉
